DCIS 2026

🎯 Special Sessions

The DCIS 2026 technical program will include Special Sessions. Their objective is to complement the regular program with relevant topics that are of particular interest to our audience and that may also cut across and beyond disciplines traditionally represented at DCIS.

Each Special Session will comprise at least three presentations, each lasting approximately 20 minutes.

Prospective organizers are invited to submit Special Session proposals including the following information:

  • Title of the session
  • Rationale explaining the relevance of the topic for DCIS, highlighting the interest of the subject and any multidisciplinary aspects
  • Short biography of the organizers
  • List of at least three potential contributions from different authors, including:
    • Title
    • Authors
    • Short abstract

Proposals should be submitted by email to the Special Session Chairs.

Important Date

Special Session Proposal Deadline:
April 15, 2026

Review Process

The acceptance of each Special Session will be decided by the Program Committee and notified after proposal evaluation. Accepted sessions will be published on the conference website.

After approval of the Special Session proposals, manuscripts may be submitted to the special sessions and must follow the same formatting and electronic submission guidelines as regular DCIS papers.

All papers will undergo the same review process as regular papers, under their corresponding track selected during submission.

It is the responsibility of the Special Session organizers to ensure that submissions meet the quality standards of DCIS.

If, at the end of the review process, fewer than three papers are accepted, the Special Session will be cancelled, and the accepted papers will be moved to regular sessions.
